Full Moon, Warm Hearts: Acrel Canteen Celebrates Mid-Autumn Festival with Employee Food Fair

Jiangyin, China — September 17, 2026 — The staff canteen at Acrel looked a little different at lunchtime today. Red lanterns hung by the windows, a rabbit-and-full-moon backdrop greeted every guest, and on top of the regular lunch menu, four festive food corners had been set up: fresh fruit, hot snacks, mooncakes, and drinks — all part of "Full Moon Mid-Autumn, Food Warms the Heart," a Mid-Autumn food festival held for all employees.
Organized by the Acrel Administration Department together with the canteen team, the event ran during the lunch hour from 11:30 to 12:00 and was open to every member of staff. Alongside the daily lunch, employees lined up for boxes of watermelon, hami melon and grapes; trays of fried chicken wings, nuggets, sausages and fries; sweet and savory mooncakes; and cups of boba milk tea and taro balls, all served festival-style under the lantern light.
Mid-Autumn Festival is one of the most important dates on the Chinese calendar — a time for family, reunion, and mooncakes shared under a full moon. For colleagues who work far from their hometowns, however, the holiday is not always spent at the family table. The festival aimed to bring that feeling of reunion into the workplace: a warm, festive lunch shared with teammates, the next best thing to home.
